Left: before. Above, stripping all the turf away. Delivery of crushed aggregate and sharp sand. Then, laying aggregate, “wacker plating” then repeating the process with sharp sand.

Above: laying a porous membrane, then the grass surface itself. Neat edging is essential, and controlling the ‘sand infill’ is critical.

Below and bottom right: the finished result.
